During the first quarter of 2024, the top 5 carpooling and ridesharing apps in Guatemala demonstrated distinct trends in weekly downloads and active user engagement according to data from Sensor Tower.

inDrive. Save on city rides started the quarter with approximately 12.6K weekly downloads, peaking at around 15.4K in the second week of January. Although there were fluctuations, the app saw a gradual increase towards the end of March, reaching about 14.8K downloads. Active users mirrored this trend, starting at 165K and peaking at around 179.8K in early January before stabilizing around 170.2K by the end of March.

Yango: taxi, food, delivery experienced a significant rise in weekly downloads, starting at 8.4K in early January and reaching a peak of approximately 13.5K by mid-March. Active users followed a similar upward trajectory, beginning the quarter with 30.6K and ending with nearly 38K active users by the last week of March.

Uber - Request a ride maintained a steady download rate throughout the quarter, with weekly downloads ranging between 6.7K and 8.2K.
